A few tips to start off:
- Always start at HITS that pay atleast .50. Anything less then that is going to be a waste of time.
- Click on the Description of the task. Sometimes the Requester will say the job will take less then 2 minutes. The Time Allotted can be misleading.
- When you find a HIT you want to do, open "View a HIT in this group" in a new tab/window. If you don't, when you get done with that task, the HIT list will have gone back to listing HITS that pay nothing.
The goal of this blog is to document all the good Mturk Hits I find each day. There are some great finds to be had with Mturk that require little time and effort. I hope to be able to help others sort through the large Hit list, to find the diamonds in the rough.
For those new or unaware of what Mturk is, I shall explain. Mturk or Mechanical Turk is owned by Amazon. It is a service that uses crowd surfing to get simple to complex tasks done. The tasks range from surveys, typing in scanned business cards, to translating text and audio. Its a great service that allows the workers (thats you) to gain a few bucks when they have some free time. Each job or Hit, has a specific value that the requester pays upon completion.

If you have anymore specific questions feel free to ask. I'm just getting started but I think I'm finally getting the hang of it.
